GMJBA 2025 PEE WEE BASEBALL PROGRAM

(Open to kids ages 4 to 7 years old)

Program fees: $175 for 2025

General Guidelines:

4-5 year-old (pre-K - Kindergarten) - Tee-Ball Program

The Tee-Ball League is for beginning players, 4-5 years old, and is played upon a scaled-down diamond with 50-foot base paths. The instructional emphasis of this league addresses basic development skills: throwing, catching, and running. A hitting "tee" is employed rather than pitching to put the ball in play.

5-6 year-old (pre-K - Kindergarten) - Coach Pitch Program

The Coach Pitch league is focused on progressing fundamental skills of baseball in a modified format for 5-6 year old players. Players receive pitches from one of their coaches  instead of an opposing player. The rules are slightly more advanced than Tee Ball as the players increase in skill level.

7 year-old (1st Grade) - Modified Kid-Pitch Program

The Modified Kid Pitch league is intended to progress skills learned during Coach Pitch. This level is a combination of kid pitch and coach pitch to aid in getting players on base. Modified Kid Pitch is intended for 7 year old players. Batters will get 7 pitches, up to 4 balls, from a kid pitcher from the opposing team.  A coach from the batting team will come in to pitch after the 4th ball. 3 strikes are out.
